"The kind of entertainment you are no longer used to"
I flopped down to start in on Merlin and shoved Ianto under the bed so as not to be tempted to pester you lovely people with my reactions every four seconds, but I didn't even make it through the previews before Ianto was dragged back out. Because I'm pretty sure, even if the show is crap and even the ASHness doesn't keep me entertained, the cost of the DVDs would have been worth it to hear John Oliver's advert for BBC America. I heart him like whoa.
Okay, gonna try to get through this first episode without any EWHATEVERWHATEVERTAing at you. Fingers crossed...
ETA: Okay, that was enjoyable. Colin Morgan is kind of adorable, I love ASH (as if there were any question of that...), I quite like the way they animated the Great Dragon's mouth with the twitchy lips and everything (and John Hurt continues to be awesome), I have a feeling I'm going to like Guinevere, and I couldn't help but think of Repo! during Eve Myles' final scene.
