I dreamt a few nights ago that
magpieinthesky was having a birthday party in a haunted Victorian mansion that she, her sister, and I were apparently living in. Her sister and I were asked to come up with a game or activity for the party. After some brainstorming, we finally decided on some quasi-murder mystery thing where we would lead a group improvisation of a ghost story with the end goal of having one of the player/listener/story tellers figure out who the ghost was (in the end, I think we had settled on Miss Havisham? It was down to her or "Mr. Havisham," whoever that is.)
We emerged to announce to the revelers what we would be doing, and it was decided that we all wanted stuffed animals (to somehow protect/comfort us while telling ghost stories in a haunted house...I dunno, it works for me when I watch horror flicks). So Lorne (!) and I went up to my room to collect an armful to distribute. I recommended Lorne take Charlie, the 18" floppy dog that I always cuddled up with when I was two or three.
We got downstairs with enough stuffies for all the guests and discovered that
bratnatch and her boyfriend had gotten there in our absence. And then an amazing thing happened: while Lorne and I were passing out the stuffed animals, the boyfriend asked for "the one dressed like that character you guys like"...and I didn't even hesitate to let him have my preferred horror movie companion. Dream-me loaned the Dogtor to Bratnatch's boyfriend. I guess my psyche has accepted him as part of That One Superhero Team or something...
I also had a dream a few nights ago that Spike and I were in my Medieval Lit class, and my professor - who, again, looks more than a bit like Ainley!Master and may actually have been in the dream - reacted to a snarky comment by growing his right hand to ridiculous proportions and physically pinning Spike to the back wall of the classroom.
As usual, I have NO IDEA.
And The Princess and the Frog was pretty much amazing; certainly the best Disney movie I've seen in AGES. I'm not sure if I'm more in love with Tiana or Keith David's voice.
