I would just like to take this moment to publicly thank my dear friend magpieinthesky for making me obsess over Robin Sherbatsky's argyle addiction. She's worn it at least once in every one of the last six episodes I've watched, and I can't stop looking for it. So, thanks, Mags. I needed another obsession.
Also, the Emmy people are really very dumb. Even Kristin Chenoweth getting to represent for my dear departed Pushing Daisies doesn't make up for the fact that they botched that Best Supporting Actor category BIG TIME. I somehow managed to not get angry about this until the GFP and I marathoned a chunk of Season Four up through "Benefits"* and "Three Days of Snow"**, but now I'm kind of a little out for blood.
(Really, there will be an actual, well-thought out entry just as soon as I can stay at home long enough to write one.)
(And I'll watch the past two Monks, probably tomorrow. Oh, _travel_...)
* Which is, by the way, the WORST FIRST EPISODE EVER. Because it's SO AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL. And FULL OF PLOT STUFF LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE. I'M VERY PUNCHY TONIGHT.
** AHGAHDTHEJUGGLINGANDTHEEYEBROWS. NPH, you win forever. Also, there was one of those creepy moments where I watched Robin and Marshall in the car talking about their views on relationships and caught myself thinking, "Robin and Marshall would be all kinds of awful together." And then I had an "Am I a complete moron?! What am I DOING?!" attack. And then I thought about last week and calmed down.
