After running an auction-esque roto for worlds that worked decently well, I cooked up the idea of running an auction roto for this year's Nationals. Since I arrived late and everyone else seemed tired we postponed the roto until after the first day of play, which turned out not to make a huge difference to the proceedings. Why were payouts in dollars when the bets were in other currencies? Who was in charge of exchange rates?? Where's the transparency?!?
