Bruce is half way through his annual trip on the KATY trail. About another 250 miles to go on his bicycle before he is home again.
A lot of people are working very hard this year to keep White Hart alive. All Bruce and I have to do is get our booth ready and make new costumes. Others are putting in so much time and effort when they really can't afford the time to keep this RF family together and going.
It saddens me that someone this group has supported through their own tough times feels the need to publicly bad mouth the fair. I respect their private decision to leave the fair but I wonder what drives them to try to hurt their friends over and over by disrespecting what we are trying to achieve.
Everyone there this year is a volunteer so they are there because they enjoy the fair and each other.We will have fun and entertain our patrons.
