I'm sore and can't sleep;so I'm surfing the internet and thinking... And I realized something. I have been really hungry lately and sort of cranky; and I think I know why. In cutting out wheat from my diet the amount of starch/grain in my diet also went down. I'm not craving cupcakes (actually right now I'm craving the bowl o miso soup that is currently cooling on my desk); but I think my body is telling me to eat more grain. I rejoice on the days that there is wild rice served at school. Actually one day last semester they had a special food night where they served PURPLE sticky rice that was incredable.
