I've been keeping it open to the public for a while now because I know there are friends of mine that do not want to sign up for LJ, but honestly, you aren't getting any information worth-while, because I lock any entries about my charges, my job, most that involve my personal life, all that involve my very personal life, and whatever I deem lock-worthy. So all you are getting are surveys and "my boyfriend is amazing" and "ohh, look, my hair is red!" ... maybe a few recipes. I'm sorry for those friends, but you will need to get an LJ if you want to really know what is going on in my life.
If you have an LJ and want to be on my friends list and are not, comment below. Chances are I'll add you.
I just agree with Dan P.'s take on this, and it's something I've hemmed and hawed over. So if you really are upset about this, blame Dan P.; he's the straw that broke the camel's back. ;o)
(But, seeing as his LJ is now "friends only", you won't be able to harrass him too much, I'm afraid.)
