Lessons we Learn about Gravity

Jun 13, 2009 16:07

One of my first lessons in gravity came when I was little, four years old or less. I was standing in the crib, and my parents were standing at the door talking about something before mom came to tuck me in and turn out the light. I thought they were taking too long, and decided, since we had gone to see Peter Pan, that I would just fly over to them.

Nope. Either I didn't believe in Tinker Bell enough, or there was not pixie dust. I went THUMP!!! on the floor.

Gravity wins again.
