Here's a question for everyone, but especially the beloved J.K. Rowling...WHY IS HARRY STILL A HOCRUX IN BOOK 7? Food for thought: Basilisk venom destroys hocruxes. In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry is bitten by a basilisk and is dying from the venom. SO WHY THE HELL IS HE STILL A HOCRUX 5 YEARS LATER?
