Ouch!
Laurana had a week from hell. I thought that she was just getting a molar but after a closer examination I find that she has three coming in all at once! Can you imagine the pain? Anyways, on top of all that she has an ear infection, a cold that involves a constantly running nose and the nastiest cough I've ever heard, yesterday she threw up the one bite of food that she allowed past her lips and had a fever. Fun, eh? And after two night with not a whole lot of sleep she decides last night that she's going to stay awake until 2 a.m. Naturally I was here by myself and no one else was around. Mom's in Halifax, Dad was working and Robin was in Dooly's and couldn't hear his phone. Laurana was crying, I was crying and I've never been so damn frustrated in all my life. I finally got a hold of Robin and he got up here as quick as he could and got Laurana to go to sleep. Once she was asleep though I didn't sleep that well anyways. There were three of us in my twin sized bed. Hopefully tonight will go a little smoother.
Because of Laurana's late night last night she's having a pretty good nap today, sooooooo that means I've had lots of tanning time. Two and a half hours to be exact. I sat outside all that time doing crosswords. I'm burnt so bad that I'm shocked that my skin hasn't blistered, but I suppose that could always come later. My belly looks quite funny. Because I breast fed Laurana I don't exactly have the most perky boobs anymore and I was sitting in a chair so the bottom half of my stomach is burned and the top half isn't due to my tube sock like boobs. I think the farmer's tan that I acquired last week is gone though and thank God because I'm wearing my strapless dress to the semiformal at school next Friday!
Anyways, I'm heading out for a smoke and then it'll be time to wake Laurana up so she'll actually go to bed at a decent time tonight! I think we might go to the park for a bit! I'll be lathering myself in SPF 30 sunscreen!
