Ruminations
I remember back in feb 2003 when I first came into the fandom. It was all about the suiting, and still is. Went to Aqautifur last night, it was a thursday, so I was the 1st suiter there. Not a lot of people, but it got me thinking...
I want to go back to what I was doing all those years ago, which is just suiting, and meeting new people. Without the suits, I'd never been in the fandom, so I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.
As to the politics, this fandom already had enough of that. In retrospect, WHAT THE FUCK WAS I THINKING BRINGING POLITICS INTO A FANDOM ALREADY FULL OF DRAMA??!!
But there had never been a political fursuit before. Not the way I made it. The fandom is not what it once was. The fandom is full of greedy, squabbling furries. There is no interest in the common good. But when I go out in a suit such as ones I have, NOT certain ones, I get the SAME REACTION I've always gotten.
So at this point, outside of FFA, it's going to be a return to innocence. And I have more suits to build, and more adventures to have.
