Wow, been a while. Again. It's kind of odd, because I'm going to be up all night tonight. I need to get my passport renewed and do a paper that's due tomorrow. And considering I've been trying to do the passport every monday, wednesday, and friday morning for the last three weeks and overslept EVERY time, I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and skip sleeping. And I should do that paper too.
So, I think i'm finally reaching the "Weird-o!" level of Japan/Anime/Gaming geekitude. Liking Japanese games: Fine. Preferring RPGs: Not a problem. Liking tactical RPGs: Meh, whatever. Liking tactical RPGs that don't come out in English, so searching them out in Japanese: Uhhh . . . . Liking an obviously mediocre tactical RPG which has to be translated and has an almost all female cast turned into anthropomophized weapons of doom while being ungodly cute and half violent: . . . *backs away slowly*
Seriously, the fourth or fifth line of dialouge in the twenty minute story-set-up opening (like any good RPG) is along the lines of "Today's lecture is on nine ways to silently kill someone without using a weapon." Within the opening dialouge for the first mission, one of the people gets hit with an artilery round and you're told half of her head was blown off. And then it has an intro like this:
(Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't dance along with the song, too . . .)
The only good thing? It may be in Japanese, but at least I took the time to find a translation for it. ^^;
