Awesome Engrish.
So there was a party at my house on friday. My parents weren't supposed to show up until sunday or monday but they came home early. Sorry if anyone was weirded out by that when they came home. I drank a bit before people showed up and therefore was ahead of everyone the whole night. Thanks for coming though.
Last night Laura and Nichole and Adrian and I went to Sunset Rubdown. They are an awesome band and played really well but their opener sucked and Sugar made them leave at midnight. It was sad because I thought there was a lot of potential for an awesome show but it somehow didn't pan out. At the end the lead said they probably won't play Victoria again.
Afterwards we walked to Adrian's place and hung out for a while. Me and Adrian were laughing about Eraserhead a lot but Laura hadn't ever seen it. We showed her a bit. It's a messed up movie. I think it's pretty funny actually even though I don't know if it's supposed to be. Obviously it's creepy too with that weird deformed baby thing (which is really well done and looks totally real and whoever is puppeteering it is amazing because its tongue and eyes and movements look totally natural) but most of the movie is just so strange it's funny. If I was with friends the first time I would have been laughing my ass off.
I saw my nephew today for the first time in over a year (except for when I saw him at Rock Heights when I performed at his school). I haven't seen my other nephews and nieces even longer than that. He's almost thirteen now and he's looking for a job and going to Vic High in a couple years and stuff. It's weird. He can't be going to Vic High... I like... just got out of Vic High it seems.
When you have a CD in stores you have to do in-store appearances. If nobody shows up I just pretend that I'm shopping. That's how I shop. I sit behind a table with a pen.
