It's A House Made Of Straw In The Jaw Of El Nino

Man, that was an sweet birthday. Thanks for coming everyone. I had a good time. For those of you who don't know, we went to Smith's Pub partied, then a bunch of people came back to my parents basement and we continued to party. Oh ya, shit! And there's pictures. I forgot. I haven't even looked at them yet. I will post thems up latas.

The Corporation: I think I've seen this movie before. Obviously it is informative but it makes you feel bad. Especially if you live in North America and buy things. Not that the movie is bad because it makes you feel bad but like... even if you try to be pretty good and not support huge shitty corporations you will realize that you do support them. Except at the end they ty to give you a little bit of optimism but they've already told you for 2 hours that if you have ever bought a computer, soap, clothes, make-up, toothbrush, paper, packaged food, brand name anything or pretty much anything else, unless it was at a small Mom-and-Pop type store then you are a jerk and you support the destruction of morality and the earth.

Soylent Green: This movie was okay but I got a strong gay vibe from Charleton Heston. It might have been the tiny little scarf he kept around his neck at all times. But then suddenly he's having sex with some woman for absolutely no reason. I think the movie was saying that women will be nothing more than objects in the future because he kept calling her "furniture" like it was her name.
Everyone knows the ending of this movie and I think it would have been better if you didn't know the end.

Sex: The Annabel Chong Story: A documentary about the first woman to gain recognition in "The World's Biggest Gang Bang?! Sex 251 times in one 10 hour session. No it's not porn but it's about a porn star. It somehow wasn't very interesting even though it had a lot of potential to be very interesting. She was promised $10,000 dollars to shoot the movie but was never paid. They promised to screen all the men involved for STD's but most men were not screened. She revealed to her mother in Singapore that she is a porn actress for the first time. She talked about substance abuse and cutting herself and how she was raped when she was young. All of these things could have been incredibly engrossing but somehow were not.
Annabel Chong is not what I would think of if someone said the word "sexy" to me. She was a poor speaker who seemed pretty unsure of herself. She didn't seem smooth in her speech or movement at all. It may have been her Singapore/London accent that made it seem worse because it's a very odd accent to listen too. Basically it seemed like this movie was about how so many people took ridiculous advantage of this very neurotic woman and how she seemed to justify it to herself. She explained herself a lot in the movie but I wasn't convinced. I completely believe that her reasons are true for a lot of men and women... just not her.

Million Dollar Baby: This movie was good but once again I think it would have been better if I didn't already know the ending. BONUS: This movie has Jay Baruchel.

Saturday when I was heading to the play rehearsal I stopped by a coffee shop for about 20 minutes before so try to stay awake. Then I went to rehearsal. As I was walking home from the rehearsal I noticed I didn't have my keys meaning they were either a) in the coffee shop, or b) at the Boys and Girls Club where we rehearse. I had to call my building manager to let me in.
Sunday I just didn't leave my apartment all day because I would have locked myself out and the places my keys might have been were both closed.
Monday I went down to the Boys and Girls Club to search their lost and found. There was nothing there but the receptionist said I could go check the room where I thought I lost it.
I went over to the room, opened the door and there was like 20 or 30 woman breastfeeding babies. It was weird.

I like the last sentence of this first panel because it's true for so many jobs.

I got New balance shoes on but they're old so I might start falling.
