MQ and Peter Pan's Wedding
* Went for MQ and Peter Pan's Wedding at Hyatt Hotel. Rushed down after meeting at company and arrived just in time for their solemnization ceremony at 6p.m.
* After which, dry run for my job as emcee for the night's event. Butterflies in my stomach, man. My first time doing this. Luckily, my co-host also first timer.
* Everything was simplified. No cake cutting, no champagne popping and pouring. Chop chop curry pok.
* Hyatt food was very good but service very bad. Very very very bad. 2 incidents of waiters spilling drinks on guests; dishes were not served at the same time (one half of the room gets to eat like 2 minutes earlier than the other half).
* And the whole wedding dinner dragged to 10.45pm even though they were only 8 dishes.
* The guests were all so subdued and no one "sabo-ed" the bridegroom.
* Year-end gathering set to be in December.
