oh god.... Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Johnathan Safran Foer was so wonderful! Read this one first. it has pretty much everything i needed for my real meh-mood. It pulled me right out of a funk.

I adore jonathan safran foer, that was one of those books that was so good I almost had to smoke afterwards. That is after I finished weeping with how beautiful it was. This is also proof that Em and I are too similiar about 92% of those I have already read. Becky, have you read Middlesex yet? I think you would love it.

you should read Charles deLint. :)

to be clear, i agree with at least two entries on emily's list. as long as the hitchhiker books she is referring to are Douglas Adams' hitchhiker books. the rest though...that's a month long coma waiting to happen. :)

most people that i know say that janet evanovich's stephanie plum novels are a stitch. not literature by any measure, but really pretty funny.
