baby smiles
~*A little, but very exciting thing happened on Tuesday, June 21st--the first day of summer....Jaden smiled his first REAL smile. His whole face lit up, and he smiled at me. It was such an amazing and happy moment, that I got all teary! Of course, I went to grab the camera, and did not end up capturing any of the magic...even when he did it again later for daddy. I would have to have strapped the camera to my head in order to capture it! Still--it's all very exciting and I'm feeling like a proud mama this week. :) ~*
*~It's still extremely hot here, and unbearable. I am not feeling good today, so I will stay at home and watch a movie, I think. "The Sea Inside" is the movie of choice right now. ~
~*I have read some rather saddening and disheartening news from a few of my LJ friends, (beansbouf, itsolivia, and amaryllis) and I'm thinking some good postive thoughts for all of you. ~*
