My casting call yesterday was fun, but it just didnt happen. First of all I walk into a room full of 30 year old women, and I'm like "Wow...I feel really young" then I notice I'm the smallest one in there. I am on the recieving end of some "WTF?" looks from the other models...so I did what I usually do in an akward situation. I break the ice with a joke. I make the women in the waiting room laugh and some of the tension is gone, and all of us pretty much start talking back and forth about different things, until its time to go into the casting room. I'm finally up to bat, I go into the room and the first thing the casting director says to me is
"You're small"
"...I'm sorry"
"You're a size 12 yes"
"Yes"
"Good, umm how old are you. You look young"
"I'm 18"
"You are young..So tell me about the town you were born in..."

I babble about Avon Park and she, the casting director, actually knew where it was and we had a conversation about it..blah de dah. I walk out and they have something on the board about the job if we get it that they tell you to read before you leave. I read it and it says "CASTING age: 25-55 size:14-16" *Facepalm* No wonder I was getting all those funny looks.. I know I wont get this job, but they did talk to me for a long time...longet than the rest of the girls. They like my personality, but I wasnt right for this job. The could call me 2 months from now and say.."he we need you for...." I just have a feeling that God sent me down there for a reason. I got a killer new outfit too. I am in love with Miss Me clothes.

Another good thing happened yesterday...wait for it.....wait for it...I GOT MY APPLE TREE TICKETS ROW B CENTER ORCHESTRA SEAT 114 *big freakin grin*

That ladies and gentlemen, is sneezing distance...or in this case apple chunk spitting distance..or so I've been told. As much as i HATE spit..I could care less if she spit a chunk of apple in my face. I am so excited that I can barely stand it. 24 days!!
