My 2nd play through with Lost Odyssey...
and it's freaking hard!
The first boss pussy-whipped me on my first try. I managed to survive on 2nd play through, but the enemies after that was just as hard as I was running out of mana (for spells) and healing items.
However, there's an extra feature in the game that I enjoyed. It's called A Thousand Years of Dreams, and it's a compilation of short stories revolving around the main protagonist, Kaim, as he recalls his memories. I've only manage to watch/read one story called Hanna's Departure. What's interesting about it is that you're reading a story, but with the aid of animated text. If you don't understand what I mean, have a look at it on
youtube. I especially liked how the word 'tear' will slowly glide down the screen as it appears.
My only concern about it is that the stories doesn't really affect the main storyline, and sometimes could get a little lengthy, but I could always just collect them and read them once I finish the game, or just buy the compilation in a book.
