I like Tucson, but I know plenty of people who hate it as well. It's sprawling and dirty and full of drugs and bums and such. But is has this really cool cultural undercurrent. It has a lot of art. It has a lot of interesting ecology. It has a lot of cyclists, anarchists, and artists. The pace of life is slower here than in any other large city I've visited. It's strange. But cool.
