ushering in the new you.

Yes. It's the new me. Not much drastic changes to be made yet. & what a great way to usher in the new year by having a wedding. I was involved in my not-so-close uncle's wedding by having to bake for his wedding cupcakes. Somehow, along the planning stage in November, I kinda procrastinated & only started rushing the decorations like one night before the wedding. OOPS. It wasnt perfect at all. The caterer provided the most unstable table for my babies. But at least I get to try out my wedding tier that Momma & Me have been making (: No professional shots for today because my sister was the Videographer for the wedding plus everything's kinda messy & rushed :( I didnt even stay long to listen to critiques. PLUS PLUS PLUS I ran out of namecards :((((( awwh. Just not my luck.

& another worthy mention goes to the surprise email Ive got from ProjectYum (: Another theatre production coming up soon! This time around, it's Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead! I personally have not read this so I have no idea what it is going to be like. But let me quote/unquote from the email:

"The Tony Award-winning comedy, an inverse of Shakespeare's Hamlet, concerns two minor characters from the play, Hamlet's courtiers. It focuses on their actions, with Hamlet in the background, and the conventions of theatre are held up to scrutiny. It is an absurdist, existentialist tragicomedy where Rosencrantz and Guildenstern struggle against the comic inevitability of their demise, guaranteed in both the original Hamlet and the play's own title! "

Yes, so interested theatre-enthusiasts, you can contact me so i'll refer you to them (:
As for me, I'm really enticed on being on stage again & working with them. I'll have to see my schedule for 2009 then.

Come 2009, I;m sure most of you have laid out your resolutions. & when I asked Isk about his, he answered curtly:

"my new year resolution is to carry out last year's resolutions."
h-a-h-a very funny -____-

Anyways, for mine, i think it sounds rather simple, the only thing that made it ALMOST impossible is my willpower, or lack thereof.
So,
1) Finish the reading the Quran
2) Do not skip my prayers
3) Donate whenever I can even if I think I cannot afford
4) Diligence
5) Perserverence
6) Let Iskandar force/seduce/entice/lure me to the gym on weekends & keep to my diet
7) Dont let the pills empower me
8) scrimp & save more
9) get a multi-million-maker savers plan (:
10) LAST BUT NOT LEAST, get discharged from KKH

Well all the best for the year, you guys (:
