Paris fashion week
Lets do haute couture this week.
Most ppl I know wont be ordering any of these dresses in the next half year.
But we Indos have a different type of couture. They are called 'tukang jahit'
Hahahaah.
And with the amount of weddings they have to attend to. This may just come in very useful.
Valentino
White is definatly in this season. Valentino created his whole couture based on white and pale colours. Pretty but safe.
Elie Saab.
This is the name you will be hearing on the Oscar red carpet. He dressed a few winners last year. Lovely gowns, very wearable, very glamorous. I had a hard time picking up one best outfit coz they all look so nice.
Christian Dior
John Galliano is the master of couture. The embroidery is amazing, I wonder how many Belgian nuns went blind for this.(another lame FRIENDS joke)Or the Empress 'Gong Li' made them????
Origami on clothes? Genius. Must be a pain in the ass to construct those!
Seriously this is one show. I'm amazed by his creativity and imagination. It takes a certain level of talent and vision to pull of such show.
He should stick to just couture alone. Coz his other line cannot live up to this.
