According to the mug I bought last weekend in Asheville, weird is more fun. I love Asheville, while we were walking around I found myself wondering why it is that I don't visit more often.
I love the city's galleries, eclectic (to say the least) population, and tattoo parlors. Really, I do. But more than anything I think I just love how that city has embraced its inner weirdness, something that's quite refreshing. I know the city is a fraction of the size of Charlotte, but it's got far more personality.
Oh, I attended my first drum circle Friday night. It was great, I absolutely loved the bizarre West African aging hippie hemp hipster prayer tent revival high as a kite in a hurricane vibe. Friday night is the right night to visit.
