I've been trying to figure out exactly what is missing from my favorites. I know that before the pre-china hard drive crash i had more favorites than i do now, and even before the China hard drive fatality I had more, but for some reason I couldn't think of what was missing. I have my e-mail sites, LJ, Pandora, assorted television and music sites, food websites, stuff for school, and (of course) facebook. Added to that I have all of the websites of companies that I may want to work with after I graduate, and schools where i may want to get a masters. I also have several Chinese resources including ChinesePod, and Chinese-tools.com. So why didn't I have more websites?
And then I realized that I was missing my Econo-blogs.
Econo-blogs, oh how i have missed you!
Tyler Cowen's Blog "Marginal Revolution" provided me with an interesting optical illusion of a spinning dancer. Supposedly which way that dancer spins says whether you are right brained of left brained. I can change the spin at will, so maybe I'm both.
The boys at Freakonomics are providing a chance for people to question the creator of "Post Secret."
Becker and Posner are talking... A lot.
Grew Mankiw (My favorite, despite his boring textbook) is bashing the left and the right at the same time.
And the lads at EconLog, Caplan and Kling, are talking about China and anti-foreign issues in the states.
