Well... What can I say? It has been two weeks and my schedule has been messed up, "fixed", messed up, and messed up some more. I realize that the councilors are inept, but that does not excuse them from making my senior year as frustrating as they can. I got kicked out of Comp Sci, which is entirely my fault. I decided to see if I could get into a better class, one that I would be able to get my usual high grades in. Unfortunately, at the time I didn't realize that I can pick up on Comp Sci VERY easily. After two days in the class I was less than lost, and after a week I figured that I could easily figure out what was going on. I was going to stay in CSII, but alas it was not to be. The councilors were shocked an appalled that I was placed in a class that I didn't have the prerequisite for, and told me in no uncertain terms that I could not be in the class. To Mrs. Grabowski's credit she did think she was doing me a favor... by uhhh... preventing me from suffering the indignity of failing CSII. Mrs. Grabowski doesn't know me very well. So what class could I take? Well, every other class that I had was stuck so I have 5th and 6th to work with.
I naively thought "Perfect! There is a 5th period Stats class. I'll just get in there and everything will be dandy!"
Nope.
Stats is "full" and despite me being a senior who cannot do anything about her schedule and who has taken virtually every other conceivable AP class offered in the school district I could not convince Mrs. Grabowski to force me into the class. That sucks.
So... there is AP Chem 6th period. I hate Chem with a violent passion; you could not PAY me enough to take it again (Thanks Mrs. Keiffer). Digital Graphics II. Again that violent passion thing: the teacher is a bitch, and I’m sloooooow. Spanish I... one word: HA! The freshmen in Spanish I pissied me off when I was a fish, there is No way that I will be stuck in a class with some of the stupidest people on the face of the planet in my senior year. And that was it.
So I left that day with a big fat HOLE in my schedule. And it didn't get fixed for two days. I finally decided to take IS History.
Now we see the ineptitude of the councilors. Mrs. Grabowski couldn't figure out HOW to get me into IS. SO she put me in school service. Everyone rejoice in the biggest waste of time that I have ever heard of! I have been going to see her every single day for two weeks in hopes that this problem will be resolved soon, and not only is it not resolved Mrs. Grabowski (a) is not sick of seeing me and (b) DOESN'T REMEMBER ME! I'm like the only person who shows up promptly at the beginning of 5th period and stays in her office until the end of 6th! EVERYDAY!
I miss Mr. Tittle. He remembered me, even though I was in his office a lot less. And he did whatever I told him to do so all of my problems were resolved so much faster.
On the plus side, the harpies have stopped trying to stop me from going in. They just look at me and go back to what ever they were doing previously that means, I don't need a pass and I don't have to waste my time waiting for Mrs. Grabowski to finish with whatever she is doing.
