Since I am moving in a little less than a week and a half I have been going through all of my stuff: packing boxes full of books, stuffing bags full of clothes, and discarding random trinkets in the trash. Yesterday I took eight bags of clothes to goodwill. I still have clothes left.
Among the mass of things that I have stubbornly held onto for the past several years of my life I have come across a tiny sweatshirt from the British School of Brussels, a yearbook type thing from Bear Creek United Methodist Church School (when I was 3), and a mountain of trash.
I have reduced my total book ownership down to a mere 5 boxes, which is amazing for me. I have finally discarded Me and Katie The Pest, a book that was passed from Meredith to me and somewhere along the line managed to loose it's front cover, it's back cover, and it's binding. The book is now held together by sheer force of will and a little scotch tape, but I'm not going to claim that it still has all of it's pages.
