I curse the day you were born
This morning (last night) Laura and I went to go see the 12:00 premiere of the new Sex in the City movie. I was ready for the movie to be utter crap and i was completely prepared to regret the 3 hours of my time that it took to watch the movie (Laura had passes to watch it for free!), but I was pleasantly surprised. The story was utterly predictable, a little overly dramatic, and not quite as biting as the TV show but that was all to be expected. The soundtrack was good, but not terribly memorable. As usual I got to drool over clothing and shoes that I could never afford to look at, let alone wear (the wedding dress was to die for!). Aside from that the script was lively, and hilarious. There were several places where the audience roared with laughter while cheering for one or another character.

I didn't regret spending my time in the movies. I wouldn't even have regretted spending the money to see the show. But when 9 am rolled around this morning and Dad was trying to get me up so that we could catch the flight to Ohio I started to think better of the late night.
