Yesterday for Valentines Day my roommates and I sat down to watch the TV Chick-flick marathon. It was going pretty well until AMC played "Father of the Bride" for a second time. At this point we searched for something else to watch, and I stumbled upon an Encore presentation on
"Warriors of Virtue." It was great, in that totally awful ninety's kids’ movie kind of way. The plot was laughable, the villain screamed gay (and not in a good way), the dialogue was hideous (think Matrix 2 for children, but worse), the acting never happened, the moral message was crammed down your throat repeatedly, the main character was a gullible wimp, and to top it all off the amazing heroes were kangaroos. No, seriously.
It was AMAZING! So we watched the whole thing and made fun of it. It brings up thoughts of "The Never-Ending Story" but without everything that makes that a lovable children’s classic.
So I will leave you with the moral message that was bashed into my head with enough force to count a blunt force trauma: The answer is inside you!
