It really is, isn't it? I love meta (in fact, I think I friended you for your meta, way back when), but there's something powerful and persuasive about re-imagining these characters that all the analysis in the world can't approach.
There are days when fandom makes me see the world differently. I love that. M.

Isn't it? As I was saying to jazzy above, there's only so much meta can do; at a certain point, you need to re-imagine as well as analyze.
NYC was exhausting! Good, but exhausting. Had an amazing tour of a skyscraper under construction and loved the Bauhaus and Saarinen exhibitions. Thanks for your suggestions, by the way. I didn't wind up eating out at all--I went back to my room and collapsed most nights--but the students took several of them. M.
