Some thoughts on Christmas services
1. Having to wait an hour and a half between two Christmas Eve evening services is not fun.
2. I CAN make it through singing "Silent Night" in candlelight without crying.
3. However, I can not make it through watching an older couple help each other walk forward to receive communion.
4. When preaching at the family service, be prepared for a lot of noise.
5. The best time on Christmas Eve is 12:15 a.m., because the services are over, and you can finally relax.
