The holidays are upon us, and boy, can I tell! This week is crazy busy; Thursday night is the only night I have to myself. In addition to normal office hours (9-4:30ish, Monday through Thursday), here's my week:
Sunday: Christmas covered dish party for one of the adult Sunday school classes
Monday: Council meeting (yippee!)
Tuesday: Christian Ed dinner
Wednesday: Normal Wednesday evening children's program & Advent midweek service (I'm preaching)
Thursday: Free!
Friday: Choir Christmas party
Saturday: Singles/Young Couples' group Christmas get-together (which I may not attend because it doesn't start until 8, a bit late considering how early I get up on Sunday morning!)
And Tuesday during the day, the staff is cooking lunch for all our volunteers (about 50 people). Yeah...it's going to be a busy week.
