It began rather inauspiciously, Jason and I just hanging out with his girlfriend and her friend, Keely. I discovered that not even X(-stacy) can cause a preppy pretentious girl to drop her guard and snuggle with the Connor during an adorable french romantic comedy. Whatever. Her loss.

Got to the end of the night, decided going home wasn't in the cards, so just stayed at Jason's and wiled the night away with Good Eats and Scrubs reruns. Zach Braff and Alton Brown need to be genetically spliced into a well-to-do hipster with southern sensibilities.

Woke up and entertained his parents while cooking them breakfast (I have a strange habit of cooking people breakfast. I just love it.) and hung out with Jayce 'til Thomas called. He came, we hung out til 11 at night waiting for Don to get off work. We then head to Don's and spend a half hour hanging in his living room (uncomfortably) surrounded by his mom, sister, and girlfriend (not the same person).

Tragedy nearly struck. Pants McGoo called Don and Don said AND I QUOTE, "Who wants to take Pants home?" Seeing as how I've done it a million times, I offered. Jason and I drove to middle-o'-Hazel-Dell and picked him up. We were about 5/6ths of the way to his house (which is by Evergreen) when he said "Is this the way to Dante's?"

Seconds later, we were back at Dante's (I'm a hilariously fast driver when embarrassed).

Then, we (Don, Jason, Pants, and myself. Thomas had left before we got back.) proceeded to spend the three hours of Midnight to 3AM just sitting in Don's (icy, dungeon-esque) garage smoking hookah and eating candy.

When I go to drop Jason off, it's discovered his parents have locked him out. So he crashed at my place for four hours, then I dropped him back off at his house (nummer zwei) at 7:30, drove home and went back to bed.

Very therapeutic to just let my guard down and enjoy myself for a little. Who knows, maybe it's good for me.
