I was just reading up on Microsoft's upcoming release of Service pack two when I came across the following:
"Microsoft senior product manager Matt Pilla said virtually all Windows XP users will be able to download Service Pack 2, regardless of whether they have a legal or pirated copy of the operating system. Research firm IDC estimates that about 260 million copies have been sold."
In case you missed that, "All Windows XP users will be able to download Service Pack 2, regardless of whether they have a legal or pirated copy of the operating system."
For people like me, that is outstanding. I have no money to buy a regular fancy dancy operating system. And since now it seems like Microsoft doesn't care about the whole pirating scene, I think I pirate more and more!
Huzzah! Today is a victory for the common man!
