Day 20 - Favorite kiss
Law & Order: Criminal Intent - Loyalty Part II
As I understand it, alot of people were pretty peeved off about this kiss. There was a want for more, maybe that would have been a nice fuzzy way to end them. But as a long time viewer, I was happy with it. It was understated and pretty much summed up their entire relationship on the show - including where they found themselves at the end of it. Which is why I am glad they made it about their friendship and not about something more, because while that may or may not have been an underlying theme, I think their friendship transcended any kind of sexual or romantic relationship. He was willing to destroy himself and she was willing to follow, all because they had to do what was right. This one last time they couldn't save one another, and it leaves their story open to however we wish to continue it in our own minds.
