I didn't want to tell everyone I was going to this until I was 100% sure I actually was. But now? YAY!!! I finally made it! XD

This year's guests were James Masters, Gareth David-Lloyd, Corin Nemec, Mary McDonnell, Karl Urban and Alex Meraz.

I went with damianl & victoria_jean. Vicki and I decided to be a little daring and cosplayed - her as Sailor Moon, and I was Vala

Well done, sounds like you had a great time. Cons are so exhausting, though. Gareth sounds like a real sweetie. Corin... hmm. Never been a fan of his, mostly because of something that happened at a Euro con a few years back. I don't think he's in any position to tell Shanks what he should do with his career.
And what did he do to his hair?!!

Well... a few years ago, I think it was either during the mid season hiatus or at the end of season seven, there was a con in Europe with Michael, Chris and Amanda. This came from several girls who were up at the front of the seating near the stage

Oh dear ... Well, as I am stuck in London have not been to any SG cons (or rather any cons when I was into Stargate) I shall have to remain on the fence on that. Sounds a bit nasty though. Poor Michael, and just after he had got back too.

He and JM were very generous with their time (JM posed with a ton of girls biting their necks etc) and GDL walked through the crowds with his fiancée. They were the two actors I saw the most.

Mmm, yeah. That's another reason I was so surprised. That and the Stargate cast have always come across as having each other's backs. He didn't say anything overtly harsh, maybe he was just a tad blunt?

That is a fauxhawk baby. :P Usually reserved for the younger generation (and Kyle Sandilands), but meh, it's his hair. :P

*snortle*.....re: Corin - two words - "Raging Sharks" - or "SS Doomtrooper"...I'd hazard he'd not consider those as great "career choices" either....*snark*...

Although in Raging Sharks you get the bonus of an appearance by Tokra Spice (Anise) too....*snerks again*...
