Well I saw Big Fish last night and found it very awesome. It was an overall feel good, whimsical flick. :) Then after that, I went to auditions for Virginia Jones and The Curse of Nergal. I got the days for the audition confused so I couldn't bring Rich to last night's and I have to work tonight. He's all pissy at me because he can't audition, but what's the point when he doesn't even have a car to go to practice if he ever got a part? Anyway, it's like Indiana Jones and the character makes references to him being her brother. There were 3 female parts:
Paulette-a self centered French chick obsessed with jewels(my French accent wasn't that good ^^;;;)
Marlene-a German cabaret owner/singer (I was told that this was the one I did the best at)
and of course Virginia Jones
Marlene sings two songs. One of them is the song you hear at the beginning of 'Temple of Doom'. So if I did get the part, I would have to lounge around on a piano and try to sing in a seductive voice. The director gave us females instructions to go around and sing happy birthday to the guys auditioning. I purposely went last because I had to go first last time. Note to self: don't shimmy down to the floor if you know you can't get up as fast. XP If I don't get a part, I'm not bothered. I'll just continue trying to get a better job.
