Does anyone have them or have any experience with them? We are considering them due to the "green" factor!
I am just going to paste some info from another chat board I read about them:
Anyway, he said if you go for bamboo, use a Mannington or Gingling product. They are top of the line and you'll notice a difference between these two brands and less expensive products.
He said there is a flooring called "Strand" by Gingling that is the most durable bamboo they sell. It's a commercial strength so it's more durable then their regular bamboo flooring. My Dh said it could run approximately $8.00 per square foot,\
Just a note: Our dance instructors have bamboo in their studio. They've had it down for approximately a year, and it's beautiful...no noticable scratches that we could see. They have the regular Gingling down. Also, although bamboo floors are factory finished, they can be sanded and refinished. You can't do that with most wood floors that are factory finished...so once they are scratched you're stuck with them.
