my weekend, woohoo!
on friday, i went to the galleria with the megan and the kelly. we saw secret window. was terrrrrrrifying. and wonderful. and hilarious. and delicios, on the part of johnny. bedhead= rowr.
saturday, i went to old navy. i purchased a green swingy skirt, an off the shoulder white sweater, and green sparkly flip flops. i am so ready for st. patrick's day.
saturday evening, i went to the Y for a kid's night and overnight. the kid's night was boring. i played HORSES NEST against blake and patsy (HORSES NEST is like HORSE, but with added letters, cause i suck). that was funnish.
as for the overnight, i went to bed alarmingly early. like, 4 AM. le gasp! anyway, we had these "lectures" about the YMCA core values of respect, responsibility, honesty, and caring. caring was by far the best, as blake had made a beautiful video about clidesdales named jasper. we also played a mess of games, the funnest being karaoke revolution, even though it wasn't an official one.
today, i went to my cousins' house for a st. patrick's day/grandpa's birthday party. there was corned beef and cabbage, red potatoes, and irish soda bread, as always. i'm a wee bit sick of irish food. don't get me wrong, it's good, it's just always the same.
anyway, the party wasn't about the food. i mostly hung out with my cousins' cousins on the other side. specifically, erin elizabeth, who is just over a year old. she is so precious. she had on a little outfit that said "irish princess"... i awwwed majorly. also!! her mommy is pregnant again!! yay!
all of my cousins were there, they're so funny. this one family of them was quoting shakespeare all night. it was so weird and hilarious. especially if you know the kids. ah, love.
