MG rocks the house!

So tonight, I saw Montgomery Gentry at the Star Plaza Theatre and I have to say that it rocked! My seat was 5th row on the right hand side and it was a great seat. The opener was a band that plays at work all the time called Scott Dubois and the 101 Ranch and I have heard their music from where I've been working at before so I knew that they would be good, which they were.

After they played a short set, there was good half hour intermission before Montgomery Gentry finally took the stage. I had never seen MG live before tonight but I had always wanted to. I'm glad I finally did because these guys know how to put on a great show. They did a lot of songs, some of which I knew like "Speed", "Hell Yeah", and "My Town" as well as some of which I didn't. Regardless, the show was fantastic and I absolutely need to get their new cd because of the songs I heard tonight that really rocked. One of my new favorites is "Takes All Kinds". They were an absolute riot and Eddie was hamming it up like crazy the entire night. He teared up right before and during the song "Clouds", which is an absolutely beautiful song I have to say. I would love to see them again sometime soon as they are great showmen. I'll have pics soon as I took some but I will need to edit them first before I can upload them and post them.
