my first 3.5 hours of junior year sucked. basically the majority of my classes, and the people in them, suck. suck suck suck. but hey, there are 179 days for things to get better, yes? (theres my positive outlook for ya, gabs)
the best thing i heard today was how a campus aide asked kates if he was a freshman while he was going off campus. mike freaks "IM A JUNIOR YOU CANT TOUCH ME!!!" the best part of this is is that last year kates would always pass as a junior to the campus aides b/c he had his keychain thing and they would think he was going to his car, and therefore a jr or sr. hah i love it.
gab came over after school. (ugh i hate using the term "after school") we got a shocking suprise, after many minutes of speculation.
so dance tonight. i wasnt really in the mood for the caporia (not even attempting the right spelling) class and it moved slow. but then we had lyrical with jen. smile. it was good. we did this combination which i picked up and felt really good to do. so one time after we do it jen turns off the music and with this big smile goes "maggie!!! that was SO GOOD! and you were so in control!" and everyone clapped and i actually started blushing and being all shy and on-the-spot-ish. it was so rewarding. it was my 2nd compliment of my life from jen (the 1st was doing a lyrical combo on the last day of class last year). ive found what works for lyrical, and maybe i can apply it to other dance. im not going to force anything, but im still going to put everything into it and add myself too, but at the same time capture the style of the choreographer. easier said than done. i hope its the correct outlook. but oh god jens compliment!! and her biggest correction for me always is to get in control =)
even before this i was in a better mood b/c of dance. even if school sucks, almost everyday ill have dance. dance takes up time and is stressful and emotionally draining and shit, but you can make yourself feel so good doing it. and i feel liek dance will be good this year. so theres something tolook forward too =)
i just opened up my spiffy new huge intense calculator. it came with a novel on how to use it. grrreeeat.
oh! and highlight of my day was this frosh who asked my how to get to the main office!! rock on lost froshie, you make me feel needed
and i dropped chem but my teacher would have been this really hot and cute guy with shaggy hair (love it!) who would always check me out last year. BOOOOO missing him as a teacher, yay e block free
