Snow/Barn Dream
Had another dream.. While I was taking a nap this afternoon. I had gone on a drive, I was with someone else, don't know who they were anymore. We were in my dads Yukon. It was snowing. The roads were awful, 4 feet of snow along the roads and nothing but these deep lines from where cars had forced their way through. We drive down this steep hill, all the while I think I'm going to lose control and crash. We made it fine, the way back was an issue though. I could not make it up the damn hill, no matter how hard I tried, how much I gunned it, I'd make it to the very top and then slide right back down to the bottom.
Well, at the bottom of this hill there was a barn, we decided to wait out some of the storm in this barn. There were kittens everywhere, all nursing off of this cat. But the closer I got, the more I realized these were all different kinds of critters being nursed by this cat. There were squirrels, rabbits, kittens, and even several foxes. The foxes were older. I just about cried when I saw them, since they're one of my favorite animals. All the while knowing that I was trespassing.
The owners came shortly.. They were an odd combination of friendly/hostile. Don't know how to explain it. They let us stay, but it's like they wanted us to leave. I had a bottle of whiskey and I offered to share it with the guy and he threw it out the window. There was more but I don't remember.
Hill
