My few-remaining youthful anarchist heart-strings were pleasantly plucked today when I heard that Sarah Palin's private e-mail account was hacked and its contents briefly posted on the internet for the public to see. This is significant because she's denying access to this account as part of the "trooper-gate" investigation into her misuse of executive authority--despite the fact she conducted state business on it. I think this proves that there is a branch of political activism that knows things like the "free market" and the procedures of "law" are designed with inequalities that keep the powerful in their places no matter how they do harm to the electorate. More importantly, these activists have cutting-edge technology they can use as a sword in times of need. There is a beautiful danger in the fact that the law can never seem to get ahead of the technological curve.
