(no subject)
So as best as I can tell, my MP3 player was in the car too. I tend to forget it because it spends some time in my car, some time out of it. But I realized it last night, and started looking around my apartment: Doesn't seem to be here.
So I have to replace it. I'm leaning towards staying with the brand, but maybe moving up to their touchscreen model. The reviews say that it feels a little flimsy (though it holds up well), and the UI is more complicated than the iPod Touch, but I have other problems with the iPod (namely that it doesn't work with my desktop).
In other news, Debian is starting to piss me off. Not so much debian as the fact that certain packages are outdated wrt. my laptop. In particular, VCS software, which is the one thing I really need to be in sync. VCS, for those of you who don't know, basically allows me to keep my work up to date on both computers, so that I have backups of what I'm working on. Right now, I can't get at it on my desktop, because they're running old versions of the software.
So I'm not sure what to do, it might be time for another OS change.
