So piper_vaughn commented on my DoP space cowboys that she's rather fond of space pirates, so... well, you know I aim to please.  I ran out of time yesterday, but I had some this morning, so now here's my first bumbling foray into smexing up intergalactic piracy:

So was Eerin just a space captain because he didn't fit in anywhere? Will he be happy as the booty? Will he live on the pirate ship or does Eerin have another home to keep him in?

I love your aliens. If I just think about the descriptions, they sound odd and unsexy, but I can tell that the other aliens (here and in the space cowboys) is attracted to the long legs, knobby knuckles, or extra eyes.

Oh, so many questions! I knew I wasn't going to get away with just one story about these space pirates. Now I have to figure out the answers...

I'm glad you like my aliens! I always feel like they're kind of lame, because I just pick a feature or two and exaggerate the size/length/number to make them less human, so I'm glad you think they come across as both alien and attractive. ^_^

I like how your aliens are so well.. alien! and yet you manage to show their attractiveness, at least in the eyes of their potential someone.

LOL! Frogs said something similar, which made me laugh as well, because my method of making up aliens is just to say to myself, "Pick a feature. Exaggerate it. There, you made an alien." But it wouldn't be any fun if all the aliens were TOO humanoid, so there sometimes has to be more than one exaggerated feature. I'm glad they still come across as attractive, oddness included!

And yet your aliens seem more original than most I've read about! Most people seem to add cat/fox ears and a tail and consider their work done.
