Dear Night on Fic Mountain writer:
First, thank you so much for participating in this exchange. I love Yuletide every year and I’m so happy to see that there is a similar like exchange for this spring/summer. I hope that you have as much fun as I do.
I find the writing to be the most fun part. I am easy to please and I’m sure that I will adore anything you choose to write me from any of the requests below. I want this to be an enjoyable time, so please don’t stress overly so!
Some general likes/dislikes for the main part:
Likes: good characterization, sex, friendships, angst, road trips, make outs, physicality with hands and that just can't get enough of a person, female friendships, AU's (specifically things like HDM fusion/daemons or spies or anything else; I've yet to find an AU actually that I don't like, and sometimes AUs are easy for people to write!), always always here for formal wear
Dislikes: non-con, character bashing, misogyny. also i’m usually not here for any type of adultery/cheating; in the cases where it’s you know historical fiction where the woman was property and her husband owned her and she was miserable/abused, then yes, or current time situations where the same applies.

Fandom: Psy-Changeling - Nalini Singh
Characters: Rina Monahan, Aden, Walker, Lara
Request: This doesn’t need to be a fill that has all four of them in it. I’m down for anything with these as they have little/nothing and they’re fascinating to me, making me want more.
This was a fandom that I asked for during Yuletide, and it’s a book series that continues to bring me endless amounts of joy and entertainment.
I really do mean that this doesn’t need to be a fill that has all four of them together.
The main thing I would love is a fic that pairs up Rina and Aden. We know from the author that Aden is going to be the hero in the 14th book out of the series, the one that will come after June’s release of Vasic and Ivy’s. What we don’t know yet is who his counter will be. My brain immediately went to well, let me see who it could be, and settled on the fact that, to me, Rina would be an amazing POV and counter to him.
I’ve talked about them/the idea of them together in two posts here and here. Basically I just love the idea of the fact that both are soldiers that know duties, but that I seriously think Rina needs someone outside of Pack and that Aden needs someone outside of the Arrows. And that with these two, Rina gets to be the instigator and Aden is essentially, as Cher would say, the virgin who can’t drive.
This will likely get jossed as I can see that we don’t know who will be the female POV for his book and it could likely end up completely not being her.
SO. All that means is that I would love a fic prior to my dreams getting ruined. Maybe she’s the one who’s set out on detail on the perimeter of where the empaths are being lodged and of course Aden as leader of the Arrows checks in on the operation. Maybe they’re paired up for some reason in the city. Give me them having to pretend to like each other, only for it to go completely sideways and they end up do liking each other. Give me Rina deciding that he’s going to be hers and going after him. Give me Rina teaching him sex. I am not picky. I will be so easy to please, I promise.
The other thing I would love, and like I said these four don’t all need to interact together, is anything with Walker and Lara. They were a delight to me in Kiss of Snow and I love the idea of the two of them learning how to be a family and learning to share and lean on one another. Having their relationship grow. So a slice of life post book 10. Sharing their pasts, learning how to be a family with Marlee and Toby. Sharing duties and responsibilities! Date things! Dancing! Anything. I adore these two.
Also would not say no to interaction between Walker and Aden pre-series or whenever, since we know Aden was Walker’s student.

Characters: Amy Brookheimer, Dan Egan
Request: Fake married, fake dating, accidental marriage, future political snakes that will run DC.
Veep is a show that’s a consistent delight for me. I adore this show and I adore these two.
There is nothing you could go wrong with me for these two. Hit the trope bingo if you want because these two are made for it.
I recently made the connection that these two are a younger Frank and Claire Underwood. Think about it! You know it’s true. One day, they will be that DC power couple and then Dan will just start killing people probably. So give me that!
Or give me the accidental pregnancy or future kids because Dan makes constant references to them having non-existent kids.
Or campaign shenanigans and sex. Maybe they get busted by Gary in a hotel during a stop. Or Jonah catches them on the bus. Or they get accidental married on the campaign.
Or pre-show stuff. How did they meet? When did they start dating the first time around? Why did Amy’s mother say he broke her heart? WHAT IS UP WITH THAT LINE???
Or I would never say no to a spy au for them. or political noir.
Or fic where Amy has to take Dan home and use him as a fake boyfriend.
Or fic where Amy and Dan have to interact/take care of children and the hilariousness that would ensue.

Characters: Athos, Milady Clarick de Winter
Request: Anything with these two would please me.
I don’t have a huge amount to say about these two, but that’s not because I’m not excited. I am! Very much so.
I got suckered into this show and it’s truly so much fun. It’s been a delight.
These two horrible marrieds/ex-marrieds have sucked me in as well, in addition to nearly the rest of the entire cast and every possible dynamic/relationship on this show. These two don’t have anything though, and I’d love to see some fic written for them.
I’m really into the fact that despite these two being terrible for one another (and truly okay he tried to kill her and she’s not exactly an angel) that they can’t let each other go. The final episode, despite him sending her away and telling her never to return, BOTH of them repeated lines of feeling empty and hollowed at the thought of the other dead/gone. So these two are very much not gone from each other’s lives. They’re both stuck and hung up.
I’d love to see anything exploring that. Anything during the actual ten episodes of the first season. Maybe secret meetings on “accident” where they come across each other. Maybe they see each other before she actually does leave France.
Or what about when she returns, and we all know she’s coming back. What happens then?
Or prior to where season one starts!
Also, I’d never say no to sex between the two of them. Because it’s all there waiting to happen.
Fandom: Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Characters: Rosa, Amy, Jake
Request: Any combination of these three would make me happy.
I adore this show so much. And I adore these three a lot.
While my main ship has ended up being Amy/Jake, because the show has done so well with it, what I would endlessly love is a polyamorous relationship with all three. Not even just a sex basis, but beyond that them living together and just being there for one another. Jake and Rosa are tight from the academy. Jake and Amy became so close via being partners and growing from that type of trust. Rosa and Amy have grown into their relationship from being in the same squad. So all three together is the ideal and the dream. How they get there, a fic dealing with that. How they get there, or the steps moving towards that. Them arguing about breakfast cereal and what movies to watch. Or needing to go to a family event for Amy’s family. Or who gets passenger seat in the car. Or how others would perceive them.
Or if you don’t want to write the OT3, then I am happy with any breaking off of it into whatever pairing.
Amy and Rosa being girlfriends and dealing with how people look at them in the precinct and everywhere else. Does Amy write out a list on the perfect first date for them only to have Rosa say she doesn’t care and they go to the shooting range instead? Amy and Rosa being friends and having each other’s backs because they’re the only two female detectives. Amy and Rosa doing shots at the bar.
Jake and Amy dealing with him dropping this bomb on her and then going undercover! Or FAKE DATING/MARRIEDS; actually you can use that for any of these or all of them. Jake and Amy first being partnered up. Competitiveness over sex and who’s better in bed.
