This was so stunning, Jordan. I was so excited to read it ever since you mentioned that you were working on it, and the final product definitely lives up to expectation, and even exceeds it. Your prose is so well crafted and I loved the ending, even if it was devastating. (But that would be the point, no?) ♥

UGH GOD THIS WAS PERFECT.

Jordan, you're amazing. I think my favorite line was this one: He hopes that some of the dirt, some of the dust from their District rubs off.

THAT'S JUST SO GAAALE.

And I don't know which ending I like better! They're both realistic and true to character and just wonderful :)

Gale nods. “A team.”

UGH, YESSSSSSS. I LOVE THIS. Of course they wouldn't separate at the beginning. They're a team they've always been a team and Gale would never leave alone when he knows he can help her. FEELINGSSSSSSSSSS.
