~I've already recced this out on tumblr, but I want to rec it here. The Rules of Endogamy. It's a His Dark Materials fusion with The Social Network. So not a crossover, but putting daemons in the Social Network world. It's amazingly well done. I love these books and I really need to re-read them. But this fic is fantastic. My spring break is next week, too, but with any luck (come on, Hoyas) I'll be spending most of it in Hartford/New York for the men's and women's Big East tournaments...

PS, I have no idea how Duke got to be #1 last week. Obviously I'm prejudiced, but I think it should have been Pitt...

So close! We can do it.

Ooh! That will be fun. Yeah, I would go to the ACC Tournament but I don't have the money this year to go to it. Last year cost quite a bit and then we did the opening round of the NCAA Tournament because it was in Greensboro and that was ridiculously expensive also. That and my Aunt is getting married over spring break and I have LSAT testing, LOL. So I'll be lazy when I'm not required to actually do something. :)

PS, I agree completely. I have no idea how they got that number one ranking back. All I can say is I'm glad they are losing it. Everybody needs to stop drinking the Duke kool-aid, they're not as good as you think they are.

The joys of pep band...last year we not only traveled to both BETs completely free, we made $150 apiece off athletics for the men's only ($30/day food stipend, generally spent at the liquor store three or four blocks from MSG...)

Of course, unless Chris Wright's hand heals, I don't have all that much hope.

I mean, we can't keep up with the best of the Big East. But given that unlike certain other schools, we actually do have to study, I'd say we're pretty solid drinking champs.

I know. He's tried SO hard for four years, it's just not fair for him not to be healthy at the end of his senior season. I know I turned to my fellow clarinetist and said I wanted to offer him my own left hand so he could play...although I don't think long red nails are his style ;)
