Megan walked down the long hallway, boots stamping out a rhythm that echoed off the cement walls. To her left were the clear glass barriers of the cells that held the captured specials that posed a danger to society.

The ones that were awake hollered out “bitch” and “traitor”. Flames licked around her fingers as she walked past.

She passed through the door and went down the stairs to her destination. Level Five only had one occupant at the moment, albeit the most dangerous of their collection.

Her assignment was in the second to last cell and it’s plunged in darkness when she finally stopped at it.

A medical staff personal gave her look over his clipboard. “Bennett says he’s all yours.”

Megan reached out to switch on the lights, illuminating the prone man on the table. Three months and she had him now; though she’d failed in keeping him from Claire.

And now she would be the one to fix him.

She entered the cell. Stalking around the table, her hand reached down and jerked out the metal spike in the back of his head.

Black eyes opened, life flooding back in.

Megan smirked down at Sylar. "Wake up. We've got work to do."
