This is the beginning of my Numb3rs/Heroes crossover for the Summer Crossover Special. And I hope that it goes over well.

I am starting to post this series today because today is a solar eclipse. Unfortunately, it will only be seen over parts of Asia.

But in the Heroes world, eclipses are a big event. They either activate or de-activate abilities (or powers as Sylar likes to call them). We will see in the next part how the eclipse plays with Don.

Even if you've never watched Heroes, I hope that you give this a chance. I will/have done my best to explain both sides of these shows.

And, stay tuned!

=) Thank you. That's what I was trying to get and not have it be too boring as a set up for later stuff.

And Don in your icon is perfect for this story: Say, what? I can do what?

Thanks again, Mel, for you and Emma coming up with this great idea for summer.

I totally stopped watching last season...mostly because I had no TV for like half of it (long story) so I got lost...but yeah...I know the baseline. Can't wait to read hint hint ;-)

Haha. Well, you can always do what I did and watch S3 online!

More to come today.

Ok... ahead of time, I know VERY little about Heroes but I'm going to read this anyway. I'll have Tina tell me what I don't get. haha.

I like what I've seen so far... love Don being on edge and the sense of foreboding. Very nice. Looking forward to the next part. :)

It means a lot that you are willing to read without having ever watched Heroes. And if you need to ask any questions that I don't explain enough of, ask Tina or feel free to ask me and I will answer. Like I said, I am really going to try and explain everything in the story as we go along.

Don on edge is fun. =)

Thanks so much, Candi!

I know enough about Heroes because Tina has to have someone to talk to about the show even though I don't watch it. LOL. And it sounds interesting, I've just never got off (or on as it were) my ass to watch it. I need to buy Tina the seasons on DVD. Then we'll both watch them. She still hasn't seen half of the last season. EEP.

But yeah, I'm looking forward to where this is going... :)

I have the first and second seasons. First season is awesome. Second kind of sucks, but if you own them, then you can rush through them and they don't suck as bad. Third Season comes out soon on DVD.

All you pretty much ever have to know about Heroes is that there are a bunch of people running around with super powers and Peter always screws everything up.

=)

Yay. I'm glad. I put the next part up already. And I'm really trying to work on the Curls challenge. I can do it!

I like the beginning of this!

I don't watch Heroes, and I hope this is not a requirement because I love your writing and I am already intrigued by this :D

Thanks for sharing, cannot wait for the next part :)

Thank you!

I don't think you'll have any problem because I'm going to try and explain a lot.

Next part is already up; I posted it today.

Thanks so much for your comments!
