Sometimes there are two different voices that wage war in his head. Most of the time their volume is drowned out by the numbers, equations and symbols, only surfacing in times of doubt and uncertainty.
Lately though, ever since his brother had been stabbed, the two voices have been harder to drown out.
One argues for the withdrawal completely into the scientific and mathematic world here at Cal Sci. To leave leave leave that place of violence.
The other counters that he is needed more than theory in that world of violence.
And Charlie… Charlie… is caught in the crossfire.
